What is Ecocentric Mom?

Ecocentric Mom is a product discovery subscription service that introduces our members to non-toxic, healthy products. Our earth-friendly boxes are filled with an assortment of handpicked products exclusively for moms and their babies up to two.  Our mission is to enhance your well-being during your motherhood journey.

Your Subscription

How do I join Ecocentric Mom?

Simply sign up for a subscription.  If you want to save a little money, go ahead and purchase one of our prepaid subscription options.  All subscriptions except gift options (see below) are renewing; you may cancel anytime prior to renewal by logging into your account

I want to buy a gift – how does that work?

If you’re looking to send a gift to someone you love (great idea!) just click the “give a gift” button on our subscribe page.  Gift subscriptions are non-renewing and should not be cancelled as this will interfere with the delivery of the paid for number of boxes. You may include a gift note in the Order Notes at checkout. You will also have the option to expedite shipping of the first box for a nominal fee; otherwise the first box will ship on our regular monthly schedule (last week of the month). 

If you wish to deliver your gift on your schedule, please consider our e-gift certificate option. You can purchase a gift credit to any of our 3 box types and have a unique code sent to your recipient. After checkout an email will be sent to the lucky giftee notifying them of their present; they will activate their subscription by entering the unique coupon code in this email. If you don’t want to notify them of the gift immediately you can have this email sent to you instead.   Gift certificates are a one-time, non-renewing charge.

What’s in the box?

Each box will have at least 5-7 deluxe organic, natural products and useful products for baby’s first years.  Your boxes will have a mix of full size and large sample size products, as well as mom & baby lifestyle items. Our memberships are exclusively for mom and baby. Our products range from personal care products, baby care, mom-to-be products, healthy home products, organic health and wellness, fair trade, vegan, drinks, foods and treats, etc.  Included with every box will also be coupons on select products or special offers from our partners that we think you will love. Are the items in my box tailored to my baby’s age?

Yes. We do several versions of each monthly box suitable to the age range of the babies who are receiving them.  The box currently is suitable up to 2 years old, although many moms continue to enjoy it long afterwards.

What does it mean to sign up month to month, 3- delivery, 6-delivery or 12 delivery?

If you choose month-to month subscription: you will be billed $24.99 in the month your subscription renews.

If you choose a prepaid subscription, you will be billed up front and after your last bundle, you’ll be re-billed for another same-length subscription.


I’ve signed up! When will I get my first box?

Boxes ship on the last full week of every month. Shop items ship within 2 business days including Limited Edition Boxes, Build Your Own and Mystery boxes.

If you sign up anytime on or before the 24th of the month, your first bundle will ship that last week of the same month.  If you sign up after the 24th of the month, your first bundle will ship the last week of the next month. (ooh – the anticipation!).  Your second box will ship 1 month after your first box (for monthly plans) or two months after your first box (for bi-monthly plans), and so on.

For example, if you sign up on August 19th, you for a monthly plan you will receive a box in the last week of August and again in the last week of September.  If you sign up on August 25th, you will receive a box in the last week of September and again the last week of November. Make sense?

It’s the 5th of the month and my subscription renewed! When will I get my next box?

The renewal that is processed on the 5th of the month is for a box that will ship in the last week of that month. For example, if you are charged on May 5th, this is for your June box that ships around May 25th.

I love the products in my box! Where can I buy them?

Each box contains a card with detailed information about all of the contents. This card often has great discounts for purchasing your favorite items, as well as the website or locations where you can find them.  Many of the products are also sold in our own web store.

Will I know ahead of time what is in my box?

Ecocentric Mom is all about new discoveries.  Part of the fun is the element of surprise.  Each box will contain completely different products from prior months.  You won’t know what is in your box until you receive it at your doorstep.  It’s like giving yourself a surprise gift every month.  Sometimes we post the contents of the boxes on our Facebook page and website or other subscribers will share the details of theirs.  Don’t peek if you want to be surprised!

I don’t like something in my box. Can I return it?

Discovering new products means occasionally you will discover a product that isn’t going to be your new favorite. It’s ok! There are plenty of other products in each box that we are sure you will love. We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for products in the box unless something broke or leaked in transit.

What are rewards points, and how do they work?

With our rewards points system, you earn one point for every dollar you spend on anything from our site – this includes subscription boxes, gifted subscriptions, and shop purchases. Shipping charges, however, do not count towards your total points. You can redeem ten points for every $1 towards a purchase from our shop page. Points expire one year from the date you are rewarded, and a maximum of 200 points can be redeemed at a given time, and are not combinable with other discounts or coupons. To view your points balance, visit and make sure you are logged in. Add an eligible item to your cart and view the balance from your cart page.


Where do you ship?

Our subscriptions are available within the USA with free shipping and in Canada for an extra delivery fee of $6 per box.

When will I get my box?

Our boxes ship in the last week of each month.  You will receive a shipping confirmation email each time your box is sent. For gift orders this shipping confirmation is sent to the gift sender rather than the gift recipient so we don’t spoil any surprises. 

Can I change my shipping address?

Yes, you may update your shipping and billing address on your account page. If you did this after your order renewed on the 5th of the month you must also send an email to or your order will be sent to the shipping address we have on file when your subscription renews.  We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for boxes sent to the wrong address unless you follow these instructions. 

What mail carrier do you use?

Most subscriptions will be sent via DHL/USPS combination carrier or USPS First Class or Priority Mail.

I received a shipping notification but I haven’t received my box – what’s up?

If your package was unclaimed or/and returned to Ecocentric Mom and was shipped to the address we had on file as of the renewal date, we charge $6 flat fee to have the package re-shipped to your home. This charge is made through Paypal invoice sent and received directly to the email address:

If your package was lost or stolen during transit and the address listed on the shipping label is correct, Ecocentric Mom is not responsible for replacing your box. If you’d like the box replaced, you’ll be charged a discounted rate of $15.


What currency are your prices?

All prices listed on our website are U.S. Dollar. 

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax in states in which we currently have operations. This includes New York and South Carolina. 

When will I be billed?

For all subscriptions, you are billed on the date when you initially subscribe. If you have signed up for the every-other-month or monthly subscription, this payment will cover your first box.  All subscriptions are subject to automatic renewal and are billed on the 5th of the month in which you are due to be sent another box (except that first box which you already paid for of course).

If you signed up for one of the prepayment options (3, 6 or 12 boxes), this payment will cover all of the subsequent boxes in your selected subscription plan. For pre-paid subscription packages we charge your card for the full amount at the time of purchase. After that, we charge your credit card on the 5th of the month after the last bundle of the pre-paid subscription has shipped for the same pre-paid subscription package you chose.

What if I need to change the credit card on file?

No problem. You can add a payment method on your account page! Simply login with your email address and click “Manage Payment Methods” to add a new card to your account.

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.  If you decide to cancel, you should do so before your next billing or renewal date.  If you cancel after your next billing date, you will still be charged for your next box or for the package that was renewed.  Refunds for boxes already shipped or paid for are not available. Canceling a subscription is not the same thing as canceling an order – once your order is Processing it may not be cancelled and/or refunded.  Once it has been cancelled, he box(es) in the processing order will be delivered on our normal schedule and then your subscription will not renew again. 

If you cancel a subscription of a prepaid subscription, we do not issue any refunds in the middle of your subscription. Simply login to your account and cancel your subscription. Your account will be in “Pending Cancellation” status until your final already paid-for box has shipped after which point it will revert to “Cancelled’ status. 

What is your return policy?

We don’t accept returns or exchanges.  However, we package all of our boxes with care, but sometimes the mail can be rough! If any of your items are damaged during shipping, please let us know at within 1 week of receiving your bundle.  Please include a picture of the damaged item/items.

If you would like us to consider your brand to be featured in one of our Ecocentric Mom Discovery boxes, please Fill In This Form for consideration.  We only feature brands/products that meet our very strict criteria.  Your brand needs to respect people, animals and the planet. We will consider you if your products are organic, fair trade, vegetarian, vegan, wild harvested clean products that are free of sulfates, parabens, crazy words and numbers and nothing can be tested on animals.
