Why did we feature All Good Goop?
When talking with All Good about placing Goop in our April box, COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders had just taken effect across most of the United States and everyone across the world was talking about proper handwashing techniques. All that handwashing makes for very dry hands and cracked knuckles (not to mention how dry our cuticles were)!
Along came All Good. Ecocentric Mom wanted more than just lotion to send to our subscribers. We wanted a product that was easy on sensitive skin, moisturized dry skin, plant-based, hypoallergenic, not too oily, made of botanical ingredients, and non-toxic. On top of all that Goop is strong enough for a climber’s knuckles and gentle enough for a baby’s bum. We had a perfect match.
How did All Good Goop come to be?
Claiming Goop as their G.O.A.T (Goopiest of all time!), All Good started in 2000 by making salves out of organic herbs that grew well together. Thus, Goop was “born”. Initially being sold at farmers markets and climbing routes (strong enough for climber’s, remember?) in Northern California, word began to spread about the healing properties of All Good Goop. To this day, Goop is still handcrafted in small batches in California and remains as All Good’s most popular product.
What can You use All Good Goop for?
We love putting All Good Goop on our hands, however the healing properties are endless. Perfect for cuts, scrapes, abrasions, minor burns, sunburns, insect bites, stings, dry and irritated skin, itchy eczema, chapped lips, cracked cuticles, blisters, cracked or calloused hands, scars, booboos (fine for kids!), and because we are "Ecocentric Moms", even diaper rash!
